Bio | Antonio Raquan Kemp, Jr., age 24, passed away on Saturday July 15th, 2023, in Kansas City, MO. He was affectionately known by his family as "Tutt" and by his friends as "King Tutt".
Tutt was born on May 14, 1999, in Clarksdale, MS to Antonio Kemp, Sr. and Pamela Robinson. He was a graduate and recipient of his diploma from Van Horn High School of Independence, MO in 2019. After graduation he sought a career in providing support for others and that path took him to long term employment at Cedars of Liberty.
Tutt was a great family man and a loving father. Those closest to Tutt describe him as the life of the party and someone who always had a smile on his face. He was also animated, very outgoing, and extremely passionate about music. He was a protector, hard worker, supportive, independent, and fun to be around. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his young son, his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was an avid dog owner, and loved his his dogs "King" and "Queen."
Tutt had a lot to look forward to in life as a father, son and brother. Tutt was an artist and producer and active member of the rap group PC. YPC was formed and fostered by Tutt, his brothers Monte, and Lazavious Kemp and friends Matthew Zombo and Jeremy Johnson. The group produced and recorded many songs and music videos. Tutt enjoyed making music and spending time with friends and family, his presence will be both missed as a friend and contributing force to the groups music and creativity.
Tutt is survived by his mother Pamela Griffin (Clifton) of Kansas City, MO, his father Antonio Kemp, Sr. (Frances) of Clarksdale, MS, his grandmother Earlene Robinson of Liberty, MO, son Kingsten Kemp, children's mother Leah Muir of Liberty, MO, brothers Monte and Lazavious Kemp of Kansas City, MO, sisters Destiny Kemp of Kansas City, MO Alyssa Kemp, Camilya Bolton, and Chelsea Corbin of Clarksdale, MS, nieces Amare Kemp and Nova Rainey, nephew Monte'o Kemp, Jr. along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his cousins Marquez & Jasmine Kemp and Jermez Johnson of Clarksdale, MS. |
