| Bio | Jonathan "Jonny" Steven Sparks, 23, Kansas City North, passed away June 17, 2012 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at McGilley Antioch Chapel with burial following in Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, June 22, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Jonny was born September 22, 1988 in Independence, MO, where he graduated from Van Horn High School in 2007. Survivors include his Momma, Janet Sparks; Dad, Jim (Janelle) Sparks; his Love, Brittany Hanna; loving brothers and sister, Jimmy, Jason (Charidy), Julie (Ricardo) Sparks; uncles, Everett, Paul, Cliff Fraker and his Aunt Phee Fraker; great Uncle James (Pat) Morris; niece and nephews, Taty, Dominic, and Chance; cousins, Derek (Ashli) and Danny Williams, Tammy, Everett, and Mallory Fraker; and numerous friends. Jonny was a very giving man, a man always willing to drop what he was doing if someone needed him. Although he was always helping others, he never asked for help himself or for anything in return. Jonny contributes with his giving ways even in his passing with the donations of his organs, corneas, and tissue. He has saved three lives with the donation of his liver and kidneys, and will help up to 50 others with his cornea and tissue donations. Jonny had several hobbies including yard work, riding his motorcycle, sports, being there for his mom, movie nights with his sister, fishing with his dad, eating at Stroud's, listening to music, hanging out with his friends, and many more. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend. He was the rock of the family and he will be dearly missed. He had several nicknames including Jumpin, Bubba, Brudher, and Brosin.
