Bio | David James "DJ" Green - age 39 of Gallatin, MO passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 in Jamesport. David was born on October 14, 1985, in St. Charles, MO. He grew up in Independence, MO and attended Van Horn High School. DJ had been an over the road truck driver and enjoyed doing that. DJ loved his family, especially his daughter. DJ loved Taco Bell. He was a caring and funny person; DJ was always a jokester and a hard worker. Recently he had been caring for the elderly as a CNA at Daviess County Nursing and Rehab and had been serving those who served at the Veterans Home in Cameron. DJ will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Linda Green and sister, Nicole White. He is survived by his children: Alena Green of Kansas City, KS, Logan Green of Kansas City, MO and Trevor Green of Kansas City, MO; his parents, Tina and Scott Griffith of Williston, FL; siblings: Tanisha Oshia of Gallatin, MO, Mark Foster (Ashley Moore) of Independence, MO, and Destiny Kyler of Palatka, FL; uncle, Randy Green of Independence, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to help offset final expenses (payable and in care of Tanisha Oshia). The family will gather with friends from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM, Thursday, June 12th, 2025 at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin.
