Garland, Texas - Brandon Baston was born on October 16, 1979, at Truman Medical Hospital, to the union of Dr. Jackie R. Baston and Sonya R. Baston. He attended St. Marks Union Church where he gave his life to Christ and cultivated a love for God's people. He graduated from Van Horn High School in 1998. He went on to pursue his interest in aviation and eventually completed the maintenance tech program at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Kansas City Mo. He decided to further pursue his career in aviation in the state of Texas. While in Texas he fell in love with the healthcare industry, in particular, surgical technician. He proceeded to go to school and eventually completed the surgical processing program from El Centro College in Dallas Texas with a 3.0 GPA. He found a job working in a hospital and held down that job until he went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2023. He loved his family and was a protector at heart. He was a hard worker, had a good heart and loved Jesus. He is preceded in death by his mother (Sonya R. Baston), his Grandparents (Eva El, Greenberry El, Claude Baston and Anna Mae Baston) and his Uncles (Rev. Steve Baston and Yinka Sholaja). He is survived by his father (Dr. Jackie R. Baston), his three brothers Justin Baston (Telisa), Todd Baston (Winona) and Trevor Baston (Kisha), his Aunt Deborah Munson (Herman), his Aunt Maxine O. Baston and his Uncle Claude O. Baston (Donna). He had a nephew (Todd Jr.) and niece (Cadence) who loved him very much. He also has a host of family, friends and loved ones who loved him and prayed for him. He will truly be missed. |
