| Bio | Stephanie Ann Pickel, 33 of Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, July 7, 2006 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Lobb Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday evening at the chapel. Stephanie was born October 11, 1972 in Independence, MO to Charles and Cindy (Miller) Webber. She grew up in Sugar Creek where she was a cheerleader and graduate of Van Horn High School in 1990. Stephanie was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and camping. She also enjoyed swimming; she had taught swimming lessons and was a lifeguard. Her greatest joy in life came from children; she had taught preschool and had volunteered at the Kansas City Christian School. She had attended Mill Creek Christian Church in Shawnee, KS. Stephanie was married to Jason Pickel on April 25, 1992, he survives of the home. Other survivors include; a daughter, Audrey Pickel of the home; her parents, Charles and Cindy Webber of Sugar Creek, MO; 2 sisters, Kim Laber of Independence, MO and Sharon Webber of Grandview; 2 brothers, Michael Webber of Sugar Creek and Chris Webber of Blue Springs, MO; mother and father-in-law Jim and Donna Pickel of Gravois Mills, MO, aunts uncles and many nieces and nephews.
