RUSTY BARTLEY Rusty Bartley, 48, Independence, passed away November 13, 2017. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Charter Funerals, 5000 Blue Ridge Cutoff. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will continue at the home of Christine and Patrick Payne in Independence. Rusty was born July 18, 1969 in Kansas City, MO. He attended Van Horn and Chrisman High Schools and was a lifelong, talented painter. Rusty enjoyed music and was devoted to kids, animals, and his many family and friends. Survivors include beloved partner, Stacy Parker Marek; mother, Faye C. Parr; sisters, Nickie Bradley and Christine Payne; children, Ryan Richey, Lauren Bartley, Levi Bartley, Jade Fazenbaker, Tyler Fazenbaker, and Blake Mitchell; his "other brother" Phil Bronson; nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends.
