| Bio | Sandra Rena Haynes Martin was born December 14, 1966, to the union of Mack E. Haynes and Zelma Taylor Haynes of Kansas City, Mo. Sandra departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, when the Lord reached down and took her home. Preceding her in death are: her father, Mack E. Haynes; brother Rodney Dewayne Haynes Lollis and sister Leslie Carroll Gibson. Sandra was educated in the Kansas City schools. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1985. She attended Kansas City Technical School Field Experience Dress/Making Tailoring, International Academy of Merchandising and Design LTD College. She was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and a community service organization assistant. Sandra was hard professional worker. She worked for Baptist Lutheran Medical Center for 10 years, Truman Medical Center for five years, and Samuel U. Rogers and Children's Mercy as a medical records senior technical associate. She married Errick Martin, and to this union two children were born. Sandra loved the Lord all her life and the Lord truly loved her. She was very strong and smart and a hard worker. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and wife to the end. In 2008, Sandra became a member of This Rock Christian Tabernacle. To cherish her memories, she leaves her husband, Errick Martin, Sr.; son Errick Martin, Jr., and daughter Yahntay Martin, all of Kansas City, Mo.; mother, Zelma Taylor Haynes Lollis; stepfather Julius Lollis; brother Ronnie E. Haynes; a host of aunts and uncles; one niece; two nephews, and cousins and other relatives, along with a special cousin, Mary Ann, and a host of friends. Visitation from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, followed immediately by services at 2 p.m. (D.W.
