| Bio | Teresa Mae Slape, 59, of Kansas City, Missouri took her final breath and went home on September 19, 2024, at Liberty Hospital.
The daughter of Clarence and Katherine Slape, she was born March 9, 1965 in Independence, Missouri. She was a loving, compassionate, selfless, God-fearing woman. She had the biggest heart and was the embodiment of what Jesus asked of us, to love as He loved, and to help those in need. And she did just that. Helping anyone that she could; even when she didn't have anything to give.
Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Slape; her mother, Katherine Slape; Sister, Carolyn Slape; and her brothers Eddie Slape, Thomas Slape and Larry Slape.
She is survived by her children: Stephen (his wife, Jackie) Logan, Isaac (his wife, Disa) Logan and Alonzo Smith; her 8 grandchildren: Jayvyn, Aiden, Ethan, Nehemiah, Noah, Colton, Madison and Adonis Logan; her Sister, Linda (her husband, Bob) Goza.
Services for Teresa will be held on Thursday. September 26, 2024 at the McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th St., Kansas City, MO 64133. A visitation for Teresa will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. A committal service will follow the funeral service at Mt. Washington Cemetery, 614 S. Brookside Ave., Independence, Missouri 64053. |
