Bio     Has been in the Army since 1983 and is currently stationed in the 10th Mountain Division. We will be deploying to Iraq again this fall. My current position is Platoon Sergeant for the Brigade Personal Security Detachment.
Funeral services for SFC Ricky Neal Treece, 51, of Hornbeck, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held Friday, December 27th from 10 am until service time in the chapel. Ricky, the son of George Allen Treece, Jr., and Majorie Sue Cloud Treece was born September 10, 1962, in Kansas City, MO. He passed away Saturday, December 21st in Leesville. SFC Treece was active duty for thirty years in the United States Army. He had several deployments during the Iraq War. He was preceded in death by his father, George Allen Treece, Jr., and brother, Steven Craig Treece. He is survived by his son, Alex George Treece of Cooperstown, ND; mother, Majorie Sue Treece of Oakdale, LA; siblings, Greg & wife Teri Treece of Rowlett, TX, and Terry & wife Teresa Treece of Holden, MO, and Misty & husband Dave Westfall of Joplin, MO.
