| Bio | Joyce Jenkins Rathbun, 53, Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away April 17, 2014. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Nativity of Mary Church, 10021 E. 36th Terrace South, Independence, Mo., where the rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the church. Joyce was born Aug. 4, 1960, in Kansas City, Mo., to Robert and Jean Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Ailene and Robert Jenkins, Carl and Maria Coleman. Survivors include her husband, Philip Rathbun; daughter, Jessica Jenkins; brother, Jack Jenkins and wife Kandice; sisters, Janice Motta and husband Anthony, Jennifer McDermed and husband Robert; and brother, Robert Jenkins and wife Roxanna; two nieces and four nephews.
