Bio     Deborah Lynn Holman, 54, Warsaw, Mo., formerly of Independence, Mo., passed away March 1, 2012, after a four- year battle with cancer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Swan Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the chapel. Debbie was born Aug. 13, 1957, in Kansas City, Mo., to Wilma and Lawrence Ray Crain. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1975 and later earned a BS degree from Park University. Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Jack David Holman, on June 6, 1976. In 1974 she began working at FNB of Kansas City which became Boatman's Bank eventually becoming Bank of America. She became the Vice President of Commercial Loan Operations over her 30 year career there. Following her retirement from the bank, she worked as a consultant for Shaw Systems from 2001 to 2009. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church. She and Jack are the owners of Uncle Gabby's Cabins in Warsaw. She was a Den Mother to her three sons and a soccer mom. She had traveled the world, loved to read and spend time outdoors in the sun. She was most proud of her family. Debbie is survived by her husband of 35 years, Jack Holman, of the home; sons, Josh Holman and wife Sheri, Jason Homan and Jacob Holman; the love of her life, granddaughter, Paige; sisters, Brenda Gorham, Cathy Morris and husband Bill, and Alesha Brown and husband Rob; mother and step-father, Wilma and Errol Haynes; father, Ray Crain; mother-in-law, Lavon Holman; four aunts; three uncles; and many cousins, family, friends and loved ones. Debbie was married to Jack Holman her high school sweetheart. They have 3 sons, 2 in the local area and one in Warsaw. Her and Jack own Uncle Gabby's Cabins in Warsaw, Missouri. She lost her long hard battle with cancer on March 1, 2012. Her granddaughter Paige was such a joy in her life. She will be greatly missed by many.
