| Bio | Allen E. Claibourn Jr., 47, Kansas City, MO, passed away November 6, 2003, at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1029 Bennington. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Monday at Mt. Washington Forever Funeral Home, 614 Brookside, Independence, MO (816) 252-4141. Allen was a lifelong area resident and a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. In his youth he served as an Altar boy at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Allen was a musician and composer and played lead guitar and vocals. On several occasions he supported other bands with his gifts and talents. He provided his services each year to the physically challenged children and other charity events. His brother, Mark Claibourn, preceded Allen into Heaven. Allen leaves behind two sons, Allen and Michael; parents, Allen Sr. and Shirley Wilson Claibourn; one brother, Ronald Claibourn, Kansas City, MO; four sisters, Rosalie Bagnell, Independence, MO, Cathy Bagnell, Kansas City, MO, Martha Sue Feltrop, Oak Grove, MO and Jackie Adkins, Kansas City, MO; and 16 nieces and nephews. |
