| Bio | William John Bodenhamer, known by many of his friends as Billy, died September 12 from complications caused by diabetes. He is survived by his father, Charles Warren Bodenhamer, his only sister, Nancy Marie Wollgast, and his two brothers, Charles Robert Bodenhamer and James Dean Bodenhamer. His mother, Mary Armon Bodenhamer, maiden name Hazell, is deceased. Billy lived most of his life in the Greater Kansas City, Missouri, area. He attended Van Horn High School. He was born November 10, 1956. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. in Kansas City. Funeral services and interment are scheduled for Thursday, September 15 at 2 p.m. at the same location. Rather than flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association, 10580 Barkley, Suite 400, Overland Park, Kansas, 66212 are preferred.
