Bio     Pamela Kathryn (Zeikle) LaGrece, known lovingly as Pam, was born on September 5, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Clarence and Geraldine Zeikle. She passed away on October 3rd, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Pam lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and kindness that touched everyone around her. She is survived by her husband, Richard LaGrece of Independence; her daughters, Sarah Anderson (Lukas) of Blue Springs and Kelsey Limbaugh (Benjamin Barnes) of Grain Valley; and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Antrim, Melany Anderson, and Ava Anderson. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Zeikle (Denise), and their two daughters of Kansas City. Pam was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Clarence and Geraldine Zeikle. Pam attended the University of Central Missouri and majored in Education, a calling that truly defined her life. Teaching wasn’t just her career, it was her passion. She had an extraordinary gift for connecting with her students, and it seemed like no matter where she went, a former student would recognize her and stop to share how “Mrs. O” had changed their life. Pam never met a stranger, and her genuine love for people left a mark on everyone she encountered. Her faith was at the center of who she was. Pam loved God deeply and leaned on her faith through every season of life. She lived unashamed of who she was and never cared what others thought. Her joy and confidence were contagious. Whether it was in a classroom, a church, or a karaoke night, Pam’s light shined. In fact, if there was ever an open mic, she was always the first to grab it, ready to sing her heart out and get everyone else laughing and smiling right alongside her. Pam will be remembered most for the way she made people feel welcomed, cared for, and loved. She had a gift for turning ordinary moments into special memories, and her personality could fill a room. A Celebration of Life for Pam will be held at V’s Italiano Ristorante in Independence, Missouri on October 18th, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm. We invite friends and family to join us in honoring her memory by sharing stories, laughter, and love as we reflect on the beautiful life she lived. To honor Pam’s vibrant spirit, we kindly ask that you wear something bright, just as she always lit up every room she entered. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, her students, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
