John Edward Wilson, 53, of Independence, Mo., passed away at home June 14, 2009. He was an Eagle Scout and received his God and Country at St. Paul United Methodist Church. Survivors include his two sons, Joshua Wilson and his wife Molly, and Jeremy Wilson; daughter Amber Wilson; parents, Daniel and Ida May Wilson; sisters Mary Carter and her husband Jim, Linda Greathouse and her husband Roger; brother Daniel Wilson Jr. and his wife Laurie, and many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, Mo.
