| Bio | David W. Thorp, 54, of Independence, MO. passed away Monday March 1, 2010. Memorial services will be Saturday March 6, 2010 at 2:00PM at D.W. Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel with visitation from 1:00 until 2:00. Cremation. Dave is survived by his parents James and Mary Thorp. Karen Thorp, Dalene and Tyler Thorp, Shaun and Ryan Nelson. Sister Donna and brother-in-law Rod Walter, Nephew Cory and wife Erin Walter, Payton, Braden and Easton Walter. `Niece Courtney Walter. In lieu of flowers contributions to Boy Scout Troop # 347.
