| Bio | Jack Lester Quinn, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025 at the age of 69. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Jack devoted his life to his family and his craft. He was the proud father of two daughters, whom adored his warmth, humor, and unwavering love, and a cherished “Papa” to his three granddaughters, who were the joy of his life. Jack took immense pride in his carpentry work, building and restoring countless homes across the Kansas City Metro area. His strong work ethic and dedication to quality were evident in every project he touched, leaving behind not only beautiful structures but also a legacy of integrity and craftsmanship. He also mentored many along the way, generously sharing his knowledge and skills so that others could learn the trade and carry it forward. Throughout his life, Jack faced multiple health challenges with remarkable resilience and strength. After undergoing a liver transplant, he continued to live with courage and determination, never allowing hardship to diminish his spirit. His perseverance was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jack was known for his resilience and strength, but those closest to him also knew his playful, silly spirit. He reserved that side of himself for family and loved ones, filling their lives with tenderness, unforgettable moments, and the best laugh—one that could light up a room and will echo in the hearts of his family forever. Beyond his work and family, Jack found freedom and joy in riding his motorcycle. The open road was his place of peace and adventure, where he could reflect, embrace the wind, and savor life’s simple pleasures. Jack’s life will be celebrated at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, Missouri on Monday, November 24th at 6 PM. Visitation will begin at 5 PM. Obituary submitted by the family.
