Bio | Deborah Kay Plumberg, 37, Osawatomie, Kan., formerly of Independence, died April 22, 1994, at a hospital in Paola, Kan. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Osawatomie. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence. The rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Monday at the Eddy- Birchard Chapel, Osawatomie. The family suggests contributions to the Deborah Kay Plumberg memorial fund. Mrs. Plumberg was born in Hamilton, Ohio, and grew up in Independence. She later lived in Topeka and Paola before she moved to Osawatomie in August 1993. She was a member of the church. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Memorial post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. She graduated from Van Horn High School in 1974. Survivors include her husband, Jacob E. Plumberg Sr., two daughters, Krystal Dawn Plumberg and Kendra Deniece Plumberg, and two sons, Henry E Plumberg II and Jacob E. Plumber Jr., all of the home; her parents, Daimon E. and Nancy R. Kirby of Independence; a brother, Doyle Kirby, Emporia, Kan.; and two sisters, Valerie Carey, Hazel Green, AL., and Nancy J. Yeoman, Nashville, GA. Published by The Kansas City Star April 24, 1994 |
