| Bio | DAIMON E. KIRBY JR. Daimon Eugene Kirby Jr., 35, Independence. died Oct. 14. 1990, at the Independence Regional Health Center. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, and lived in this area 25 years. Mr. Kirby was a shift mechanic for Owens-Illinois Inc. in its Plastic Products Division. He was a member of the Rockwood Baptist Church. He was a 1974 graduate of Van Horn High School and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Susan D. Kirby, and a son, Willis Gene Kirby. and a daughter, Tiffany Ann Wright, all of the home; his parents, Daimon E, Kirby Sr. and Nancy R. Kirby of Independence; a brother, Doyle Kirby, Emporia. Kan:, and three sisters, Nancy Yoeman and Valerie Carey of Huntsville, Ala., and Debbie Plumberg, Paola, Kan. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church; graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the Carson Independence Chapel. |
