Bio | RICHARD DeWEESE Services for Richard Don DeWeese, 18, of 519 S. Main, Independence, who died Saturday at the General Hospital after being involved in an accident at Independence and White, at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Carson Independence Chapel; graveside services at 3 p.m. at Elliott Grove Cemetery, Brunswick, Mo. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Fairmount Christian Church. Mr. DeWeese was a lifelong Kanas City resident. He was a 1974 graduate of Van Horn High School, and worked as a sheet metal worker for Tempmaster Corporation. He was a member of the Fairmount Christian Church. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don R. DeWeese, a brother, Kirk D. DeWeese, and a sister, Miss Lori A. DeWeese, all of 516 S. Ralston, Sugar Creek: his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Hunt, Brunswick; his maternal grandfather, George I.
