Bio     Larry Ray Baker, 34, Independence, died Jan. 14, 1991, at the home. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Baker was a truck driver for the Prime Trucking, Co., Springfield, Mo., and earlier worked for the Highway Carrier Corp. He had been a licenses funeral director for the Carson funeral homes. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Independence. Surviviors include a daughter, Alisha Marie Baker, Altus, Ark.; his father, Raymond R. Baker of the home; and a sister, Patricia A. Vasquez, Independence. Services will be at 10a.m. Friday at the Carson Independence Chapel; burial in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Published in The Kansas City Star January 17, 1991
