Bio | Larry Ray Baker, 34, Independence, died Jan. 14, 1991, at the home. He was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Baker was a truck driver for the Prime Trucking, Co., Springfield, Mo., and earlier worked for the Highway Carrier Corp. He had been a licenses funeral director for the Carson funeral homes. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Independence. Surviviors include a daughter, Alisha Marie Baker, Altus, Ark.; his father, Raymond R. Baker of the home; and a sister, Patricia A. Vasquez, Independence. Services will be at 10a.m. Friday at the Carson Independence Chapel; burial in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Independence.
