Bio | Frank Scott Smith, age 64, of Vinton,VA was called home to be with the lord at 12:51 pm on January 1, 2021. He is survived by his three children Kory (Tracy), Sheena (Chris), and Frankie Leigh. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Allison, Wesley, TJ, Olivia, Alania, Logan, Leah, Kayla, Gavin, Lillyana, Oliver, and his two great-grandchildren Hadleigh and Axxel. He also leaves behind his dear friends Trigger, Matt, Jenny, his girlfriend Joleen, and her two sons, James and Robert. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Keith, Kent, Karry, Nikki, Jill, and Dana. He had a big impact and will be missed by many more. Frank has been reunited in heaven with his mother Floy Collens, chosen father John, older brothers Bruce, and Skip, and his dear sister Kathy. After high school, he joined the service and moved to Norfolk, VA where he met his former wife of 20 years, Robin. Frank Smith was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 3, 1956 to Floy Forbes and Clyde Earl Smith Sr. Frank loves to spend his days with his dog, Duke, his parrot, Gizmo, his family, and his friends. He loved cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs, doing his daily crossword puzzle, and admiring his morning glories. Frank had the sweetest soul, and his memory will be kept alive for years to come. We will be holding a celebration of life to honor him on January 16. |
