Bio | Rodney Hendren, 53, of Raytown, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Cedar Valley Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel, with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Rodney was born November 27, 1954, in Kansas City, Mo., and was a lifelong resident of Kansas City. Rodney enjoyed auto racing and was a trained auctioneer. He also was an artist, which he enjoyed sharing with the children. Rodney was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hendren, and his brother, Glenn Hendren. He leaves to mourn his death, his father, James E. Hendren, and his brother Terry L. Hendren as well as numerous friends and relatives.
