Bonny Sue Riley, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri, was born May 7, 1955, in Independence, the daughter of John C. and Peggy J. (Merwith) Stover. She departed this life Tuesday, March 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by love and family.
She was a 1972 graduate of Van Horn High School in Independence.
She was employed at the Social Security Administration for her entire working career retiring on July 20, 2020. She enjoyed cooking (especially her famous cinnamon rolls), shopping the TikTok Shop, and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be long remembered for her ability to make her family laugh.
Bonny was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Riley of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Brandon Riley, Unique Johnson, and Yasmin Johnson, all of Kansas City; three great grandchildren, Ka'morion Robinson, Arabella Jackson, and Tru Smith; other relatives and friends.
Per Bonny's wish cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled.
