| Bio | Perry Jay Snapp, 20, of Springfield, Ill., formerly of Independence, died Wednesday, December 17, 1975, as a result of a fire in his apartment. He worked for the Mosler Safe Co., Kansas City, and had been transferred to Illinois in June. Previously he lived in Independence. Snapp was a 1973 graduate of Van Horn High School. He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Snapp, 2006 s. Crisp, two brothers, Dennis Snapp, 1210 S. Crisp and Jeff Snapp of the home; and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Daniel McEwen, all of Independence. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Payne Funeral Home, Galt, MO., with burial in the Galt West Cemetery, Galt. There will be no visitation.
