Bio | Following high school, I took a summer job with the Kansas City Royals Baseball organization while attending college. When the baseball season was over, I began a long career (27 years) in healthcare administration at Truman Medical Center and the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
During that time, I completed a Bachelor's degree at Park University and a Master's degree from the Executive MBA program at Rockhurst University.
Twenty-six years ago, I married Russ Finkle, a '72 graduate of Southwest High School. We have two children, Shea (21) and Steven (11). Shea is completing her final semester at Rockhurst University and Steven is anxious to begin middle school in the fall.
Currently, I work at Rockhurst University as Director of Graduate Admission, and I serve as an Adjunct Professor for the Helzberg School of Management at Rockhurst. Working fulltime and teaching graduate school allow little time for the things I enjoy most, which are my family, cooking, decorating the house, reading and traveling. |
