| Bio | Michael Patrick Miles, 41, Independence, MO passed away July 28, 1996 in Independence, MO. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 1, at George C. Carson & Sons Independence Chapel; burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made for Michael’s children in care of Shawn Miles. Mr. Miles was born December 22, 1954, in Independence, MO. He was a self-employed floor installer, and also the former co-owner of K.C. Rug. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Matthew Christopher Miles and Benjamin Michael Miles; and one daughter, Anne Denise Miles, all of Independence, MO; the mother of Michael’s children, Shawn Miles, Independence, MO; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Tony Reed, Blue Springs, MO; and his maternal grandmother, Peggy Robertson, Independence, MO.
