| Bio | David Allen Meyers passed peacefully in Arcola, MO on August 25th, 2021 at 12:39 am at home with his family. David was born on October 16th, 1955 in Independence, MO. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Van Horn High School and retired from Michelin after 21 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being in the Eagles Club and being with family at the lake. His happiest memories are of his family. David is survived by his wife, Michelle, of 32 years; children, Evina (Carl) Rogers, Gina Barnett, Krystal Chadwick, Samantha Meyers, Katie Meyers, Jasper Meyers, and Adrianah Meyers; grandchildren, Mckenzie, Baileigh, Preston, little Tim, Jake, Dalton, Jakson, Cataleya, Kooper, Cody, and Corey; great-grandchildren, Daxe and Nova. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Mary Seevers, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 6 brothers-in-law, 5 sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more. David was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Syble (Pipes) Meyers, son-in-law, Tim Barnett, and granddaughter, Kaileigh Aubrey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. The family will greet friends and family from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at Greenfield Funeral Chapel (61 N Allison Ave, Greenfield, MO 65661). Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. |
