Bio     Edward “Eddie Joe” Maglich, 33, Sugar Creek, died June 13, 1988, at the Medical Center of Independence. He was a lifelong Sugar Creek resident. Mr. Maglich received a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, in May. He was a member of St. Cyril’s Catholic Church, Sugar Creek. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Maglich of the home; three brothers, Terry Maglich, Columbia, John Maglich, Sugar Creek and David Maglich of the home; two sisters, Anne Angotti, St. Louis and Jacky Maglich, Overland Park; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Atchley of Independence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church; burial in the St. Mary’s section of Woodlawn Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Carson Independence Chapel, where the rosary will be said at 7 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Sugar Creek Civic Relief Fund.
