Bio | Steven H. Koeller, 53, of Warrensburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at the Western Missouri Medical Center. He was born Jan. 17, 1955, in Kansas City, the son of James Louis and Dixie Snyder Koeller. On Sept. 22, 1990, he married Sherri Mayse in Warrensburg. Steven attended Westport High School and graduated in 1973 from Van Horn High School in Kansas City. He first worked for S&J Manufacturing Co. in Kansas City, then for Harmon Industries as a production supervisor for 22 years. He was a past member of the Elks Lodge of Warrensburg. Steven loved a good auction, fishing, reading a good book, woodworking and collecting Hallmark ornaments. Survivors include his wife, Sherri Koeller of Warrensburg; his mother, Dixie Cole of Pittsville; one brother, James Michael Koeller of Omaha, Neb.; and his aunt and uncle, William and Katherine Hanna of Sedalia. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, with Pastor Jerry Basye officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Johnson County Cancer Foundation or Johnson County Home Health in care of the funeral home. |
