Bio | Kim Bruce Greeley, 69, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born May 17, 1955, to Thomas and Beverly (Reece) Greeley in Independence, MO. Kim was a 1973 graduate of Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. He was an Eagle Scout and Fire Builder for the tribe of Mic-O-Say Troop #276. On August 15, 1987, Kim was united in marriage to Teresa Richardson in Kansas City, MO. Kim spent several years working as the shop manager and diesel mechanic for Consolidated Freight Ways. He started Sterling Auto Service in Independence, MO where he was the owner and operator for 14 years. Kim enjoyed classic cars, the louder and faster, the better! He also was known for helping anyone in need and enjoyed fishing. He treasured spending time with his beloved family. Kim is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Greeley of Blue Springs, MO; daughters, Melany Neal and her husband James of Kansas City North, MO, Lauren Feldhausen and her husband Brent of Lone Jack, MO, Taylor Tuttle and her husband Ryan of Liberty, MO; grandchildren, Joley Neal, Kelly Neal, Hayes Tuttle; siblings, Thomas Greeley and his wife Sherry of Independence, MO, Jennifer Long and her husband Tom of Raytown, MO, Christy Snyder and her husband Bill of Ottawa, KS, Lori Smith and her husband Richard of Independence, MO; sister-in-law, Fran Greeley of Las Vegas, NV. Kim is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Steven All services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at Meyers Funeral Chapel in Blue Springs, MO.
