Obviously the yearbook was incorrect about the 'Steve' part of the name.

James Eugene "Jamie" Gilmore, 50, Independence, Mo., earned his wings and went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, with his family by his side. Jamie was a member of Mount Washington Baptist Church, and was an artist, musician and fisherman. He was the worlds most loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend to the many who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughter, Josie Catt and husband, Josh; grandson, Skyler; his parents, Jay and Laila Gilmore; sisters, Rhonda Shields and husband, Tom, Kerry Pace and husband, Kevin, Kippy Sturman and husband, Dave, and Lauren Rose; nephews, Terry Weber and wife, Rachel, Allen Rose, Davey Sturman and John Pace; nieces, Kristin Teeter and husband, Nate, and Renae Barr; and great- nieces, Cailey and Alaina Weber. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Mount Washington Forever Mausoleum Chapel, Independence. Burial will follow at Mount Washington Forever Cemetery, Independence. A "Celebration of Life" in honor of Jamie will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mausoleum. The family suggests memorial contributions to Mount Washington Baptist Church, Independence.
