Bio     Marion Ray Forbes Jr., 57, of Roscoe, Mo., passed away suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012. Marion lived in Roscoe, Mo., for the last 18 years. He loved hunting, fishing, building and collecting model cars, and restoring his old Chevy Nova. He had been an electrician until a fall 15 years ago and was no longer able to work. Marion was proceeded in death by his daughter, Lacy Lyn Forbes. He is survived by four children, Stephania Foulks of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Jeremy Forbes (Crystal), Adam Forbes (Audrey) and Abby Forbes (Sonny), all of Independence, Mo.; three grandsons; five granddaughters; mother, Shirley Moffett of Raytown, Mo.; father, Loren Parker (Nancy) of Fredrick, Colo.; brother, Tony Parker of Osceola, Mo.; sister, Debbie Tasker (Joe) of Raytown, Mo.; and many, many more family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Fairview Butcher Community Church on T Highway in Wheatland, Mo.

Jerry is a VH Alumni (1960) and will be gifting a Falcon sculpture he created to VH at this time. All school alumni are welcome to attend.
