On Friday, March 27, 2020 Lawrence Lee Latimer passed into Larger Life with God.
Lawrence was born on April 7, 1954 in Independence, Missouri. He was a graduate of Van Horn High School. Lawrence studied broadcasting at Columbia School of Broadcasting. He also studied biology at both Longview Community College and University of Missouri Kansas City.
Lawrence worked in broadcasting and retail before settling into a Senior Account Representative position with AT&T from which he retired.
Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman and was especially fond of tube fly fishing on the Guadalupe River in Texas. Lawrence also enjoyed playing his guitar, water color painting, and gardening.
Lawrence is survived by his mother Mary Beth Latimer and his brother Gregory Lee Latimer both from Kansas City, Missouri, his uncle Sammy R. Coffman of Independence, Missouri, his niece Leslie Lynn Laster-Burton and her husband Dean also of Independence, Missouri. Lawrence is also survived by an aunt, niece, and two nephews all from Colorado.
There will be a private service for Lawrence at Trinity Episcopal Church in Independence, Missouri on May 6, 2020.
