| Bio | Richard Louis Cumbie, 49, Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, July 25, 2005, at the Independence Manor Care Center. Mr. Cumbie was born on Oct. 25, 1955, in Independence and was a lifelong area resident. He had been employed at the Independence Regional Health Center Pharmacy and Osco Drugs for several years. He was a sketch artist and loved music, especially playing the guitar. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran. Richard is survived by his daughter, Nichole Cumbie of Olathe, Kan.; his mother, Bonnie Grimm, a brother, Raymond Cumbie, and an aunt, Sandra McHenry, all of Independence; a nephew, Dustin Cumbie; and several cousins.
