| Bio | Miss Carol Jean Brassfield, 20, of 5822 E 12th, died Saturday, August 23, 1975, at her home of a gunshot wound. She was born in Independence and was a 1973 graduate of Van Horn High School. She was a member of the Saints Church. Miss Brassfield formerly was employed by the Robinson Shoe Company. She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daryle E. Brassfield of the home, a sister, Mrs. Darlene M. Edwards, 11912 ½ E. 32nd, Independence, and her maternal grandfather, Clyde C. Norman, 1798 S. Trail Ridge, Independence. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Speaks Chapel, burial in Mount Washington Cemetery. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the chapel.
