| Bio | JOHN PHILPOTT John Charles "Chuck" Philpott, 68, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15th in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. Chuck was born September 8, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Charles Fredrick and Martha Jean (Kennedy) Philpott. He graduated from Van Horn High School in 1972 and was in the top 10% of his class. He owned and operated a salvage yard. Chuck loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed boating and water skiing at the lake. He was an outstanding mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. His life was all about helping others. Chuck's survivors include his wife Patty Philpott, stepson Jim Brewer Jr., stepdaughter Valorie Jack, brother Dave Philpott (Dianna), granddaughter Cami Jack, and grandson Dylan Jack.
