Bio     Lynda Carol Vaughn, 48, Climax Springs, died Jan. 24, 2001, at Barnes Jewish Hospital North, St. Louis. She was born Jan. 22, 1953, in Batesville, Ark., a daughter of William and Frances Luster McKinney. Her parents survive in Buckner. She was married July 27, 1977, to Chuck Vaughn, who survives at the home. She graduated from Van Horn High School and attended dental assistant school in Kansas City. She was a homemaker and a bus driver for the Grain Valley School. She was a Baptist. Other survivors include: four daughters, Jennifer Vaughn, Climax Springs, Holly Denham, Independence, Tina Risseeuw, Des Moines, Iowa, and Shelly Bartschi, Denver; one brother, Billy McKinney, Buckner; three sisters, Connie Rincker and Teresa Spaun, both of Kansas City, and Janice Christopher, Independence; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Mose Clark Cemetery, Macks Creek. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Sunday. Memorials are suggested to the fund that has been established.

Jerry is a VH Alumni (1960) and will be gifting a Falcon sculpture he created to VH at this time. All school alumni are welcome to attend.
