| Bio | *Lloyd was originally in the 72 class, but graduated in 73. Lloyd Dean Carpenter Jr. Dean was born August 21, 1954 to Lloyd and Billie Carpenter. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Missouri. He passed away peacefully at home on January 11 2025 at the age of 70, with his wife Deanna and his son David by his side. Dean was a very avid racing fan from a very young age. He joined Boy Scouts and after many years he became an eagle scout. He also LOVED his Chiefs and classic rock. And he loved to socialize. He would strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. Dean worked for Gilmour for many years until he retired. Dean is survived by his wife Deanna Carpenter, his son David Carpenter, step daughter Nicolle Williams (Alex), stepson Ricky Skivers (Riley), five grandsons, Tristen, Lee, William, Coray, and Andy and one granddaughter Haley. He is also survived by his father, Lloyd Carpenter Sr., and sister Jane Templeton (Ed) and many nieces and nephews. He was also blessed with many lifelong friends. Dean was preceded in death by his mother Billie Carpenter, and two brothers, Richard Carpenter and Bryan Carpenter.
