Bio | Terri Lynn Rains, 64, of Independence, MO passed away on November 25, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Visitation will be on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 12-2pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the chapel. Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Terri was born on March 24, 1953 in Independence, MO to Clifford Sr. and Geraldine (Falk) Weakley. She graduated from Van Horn High School. It was in Jr. High at Nowlin Middle School that she met the love of her life, Harold Rains. They remained high school sweethearts and were married after high school. Harold joined the Army and they spent the next 2 years in Germany. She was employed at Independence Regional working in the medical staffing office for several years. Terri, along with her husband, were members of Eagles #3717 and Moose Lodge #1092. St. Patrick’s Day was her favorite holiday and she loved to celebrate! Terri also liked spending time at the Lake Of The Ozarks, Chiefs football, spending time with friends, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren! She will be forever loved and missed. Survivors include; husband of 45 years Harold Rains, Sr.; son Harold Rains, Jr. and his wife Teresa; daughter Tracy Gray and her husband Mike; grandchildren Lexus Davis-Rains, Alyssia Rains, Sydney Gray, and Brett Gray; Mother-In-Law Dorothy Rains, sisters Gail Tobin, Cheri Sullivent; Jeri Curry, and Vicki Weakley; brother Charles “Eddy” Weakley; a large extended family and many friends.
