| Bio | David G. Lawson, 63, of Independence, Mo., passed away January 4, 2017.
A memorial visitation will be held at a later date.
David was born to George and Arlene Lawson in 1953, in Iowa Falls, Iowa. David retired as a computer programmer and spent many years as a talented musician in a number of classic rock bands. David was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandi Parker of Blue Springs, Melissa Meyer and her husband, Jeff, of Lee's Summit, Heidi Lawson and Patrick Zweygardt of Lee's Summit, Sunni Lawson and Cory Black of St. Joseph, and Sarah Lawson of Blue Springs; grandchildren, Evan Jung, Hailey Lawson, Nathan Meyer, Ela Black and Emma Black; his loving companion, Ann Yokley; and his brother, Dennis Lawson.
David is and will be greatly missed.
