Bio | Steven Dale “Steve” Hendrickson, 64, resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017.
Steve was a loving husband, father, son and brother and his family loved him dearly. Steve was born on July 23, 1953, to his mother Patricia Lee Lamendola and father, the late Russell Dale Hendrickson. He was raised in Independence, graduating from Van Horn High School. He was a proud Eagle Scout and had baseball in his “blood”, being coached often by his dad or playing along with his brother. One of Steve’s proudest achievements with his late wife Linda Hendrickson, is his beloved daughter Ashley Anna Hendrickson. He continued his love of “ball” watching his own daughter play softball through the years, and he recently had the great honor of watching his daughter graduate from nursing school.
Steve and his brother Ronald Lee “Ron” Hendrickson have run a very successful business, Dynamic Porch and Patio for 30+ years in Independence. As a duo in business together, Steve and Ron were owners, partners, brothers and best friends and have been respected and admired by all who have had an opportunity to work with them.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Ashley Hendrickson, his mother, Pat Lamendola, his brother, Ron Hendrickson and sister-in-law, Suzie Hendrickson, his sister Amy Johnson and his youngest sister Laura Thornquist and brother-in-law Geno Thornquist, in addition to many nieces and nephews of all whom he loved dearly and touched deeply.
