| Bio | Judith Ellen McBride WILBRAHAM - Judith "Judy" Ellen (Elias) McBride, 54, beloved mother and wife, passed away Monday. She was the daughter of the late Dr. David and Hulda Anne Elias. A graduate of the Research College School of Nursing, in Kansas City, MO., she had a lengthy career as a surgical scrub nurse. Judy volunteered as a school nurse in the Wilbraham School System for many years as well as a member of the P.T.A.. She also had a love for gardening. Judy leaves her loving husband James S. McBride; beloved sons, Sean of Los Angeles, CA, and Kelly and Patrick of Wilb., and was a 2nd mother to many kids in town. She also leaves her caring brother Dr. James Elias of MO., her caring sisters Janine Elias of KS, Linda Bolas and Kathy Myers both of MO. A celebration of her life will be held Friday Sept. 14th in the family home at 4 Catherine Circle, Wilbraham from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berman-Gund Laboratory, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School, 243 Charles St., Boston, MA 02114 or to the Arthritis Foundation, 29 Crafts St., #450, Newton, MA 02458. |
