Bio | Lynda Grace Bruns-Hoover, 53, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital East, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 27th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. The family requests no flowers. Lynda was born on June 18, 1953, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Wilfred L. and Thelma L. (Clothier) Bruns. She was a 1971 graduate of Van Horn High School. Lynda graduated from UMKC with a degree in Psychology and Rockhurst College with an MBA. She married John E. Hoover on December 31, 1982 and he preceded her in death on November 26, 2003. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Independence and Job's Daughters. Her survivors include her brother, Randolph L. Bruns of the home; 3 chow dogs: Amber, Tasha & Odessa Oasis Odyssey; and 2 Tennessee walking horses: a mare, Merry Sis Coin, & a philly, Labels Merry Sis.
