Bio | Sue Ellen Mosbauer, 57, Blue Springs, Mo, passed into God's loving embrace after a courageous battle with brain cancer on July 2, 2011. Sue was born on August 2, 1953, in Independence, Mo, to Rose Mary and Verlin Baker. After graduating from Van Horn High School she went to work for Armco Steel. Several years later she put herself through nursing school at Penn Valley. She became a RN in 1996 and worked for St. Luke's Northland for 10 years. Whether it was jumping on the jet ski or riding her motorcycle Sue loved to be outdoors. You name a sport and she could play it and play it well. Sue volunteered at Camp Quality many years. She was actively involved in many charities at work also. The only other thing Sue enjoyed more than being outside and helping people was to spend time with her 3 grandchildren and all of her family. Sue was preceded in death by her father Verlin Baker. She is survived by her daughter Molly Andrew, her three grandchildren Kilee, Clayton and Ava Andrew; mother Rose Mary Baker; two sisters Linda Arnold and Maribeth Keller, brother Brent Baker. She also leaves behind many aunts & uncles, nieces & nephews, and many wonderful friends. A celebration of Sue's life will be Wednesday July 6 from 6-8pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. A memorial service will be Thursday July 7 at 10am at Floral Hills Cemetery.
