Bio | Hi Gang, Wow. Almost 40 years have passed. It doesn't seem that long ago that I thought a 40th reunion was for old people. I've since then changed my mind because, guess what? We're not old (but I do enjoy a getting an occasional senior discount). I married my high school sweetheart right after graduation in 1969 & we divorced 30 years later. Who would have thunk it? Anyway, I'm still single and I've got to say it has its perks. I graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing in 78, moved to Springfield, Mo. in 82 and got my BSN from Drury University in 94. After working as a psychiatric nurse for 26 years, I reevaluated my priorities and decided it was time to hang up my nursing hat so I retired a few months ago. I keep busy with the Humane Society, creative writing, getting together with friends, church activities, spending time with my son & 3 grandsons and a host of many other things. My life is great and I'm happier than I've ever been. I hope life has been good to you and I'd love to hear from you.--------Linda |
