Bio     LARNIE S. DEPONTE Larnie Suzanne Deponte, 66, of Stover, MO, passed away December 11, 2017 at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 1, 1951 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Paul H. and Lois Ann Bonnichsen Renshaw. Larnie was united in marriage to Rick Scudiero, who preceded her in death. On June 22, 1996, Larnie was united in marriage to Michael Deponte, who survives at their home. She was a 1969 graduate of Van Horn High School in Kansas City, MO. As a young woman, Larnie worked as a flight attendant for TWA. She later co-owned and operated a yogurt and flower shop and an electric engineering company with her first husband Rick. After moving to the Stover area, Larnie worked for a short time as administrative assistant for the city of Stover.Most recently she worked at Handel Haus in Cole Camp, where she enjoyed visiting with the customers. Following her retirement she enjoyed traveling and experiencing new adventures with her husband Michael. Larnie loved to keep busy and enjoyed working with stained glass, volunteering with community organizations, meeting new people who became treasured friends and BLING. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a bonus daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Ryan Barnes of Kansas City, MO; two bonus grandsons, Noah Perez and Caleb Barnes of Kansas City; sister and brother-in-law, Terra and Richard Shideler, of Fairbanks, AK; nephew, Taylor Shideler and his wife Hannah of Palmer, AK; great niece and nephew, Azrael and Vivian Shideler; along with other relatives and many friends. "Fashion May Rest Now" and her family will have to live on with her curse of beauty. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover with Pastor Gerald Kurka officiating. A reception will be held from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at the Stover Community Building. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran School. Arr.: Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover, MO.
