Bio | Debby Gentry-Quinn, 60, passed away peacefully at Kansas City Hospice House on March 7, 2012. She was born Dec. 5, 1951, and graduated from Van Horn High School in 1969. Debby worked at Bendix on Bannister Road for most of her adult life, and retired when it was Allied Signal in 1994. She was married to John Quinn of Overland Park, Kan., for 14 years. Debby was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother, Gerald Gentry. She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Julie Gentry of Lakeland Florida; sister-in-law, Leslye McGill; nieces, Shelley Whisler and Stephanie Gentry-Haynes; and nephew, Guy Gentry, all of the greater Kansas City area. Debby also leaves behind many long time friends and loved ones. Debby was a beautiful person who loved life and lived it to the fullest. She will remain in our hearts and will be greatly missed. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 16, at the Mission Lake Club House, 12100 Charlotte, KCMO. (entrance at 121st St. & Holmes.)
