Charles T. Pennington, age 66, of Edwards, Missouri, passed away at his home on March 11, 2016. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Arthur and Helen Pennington. He was raised in the Kansas City area and was a graduate Van Horn High School in Independence, Missouri. He then joined the United States Marine Corp to serve his country. After his discharge he returned to Kansas City and worked in several warehouses, mostly as a supervisor, including Regal Plastics and UHaul. He was married to Linda Firth in July of 1995. He retired in 2006 and after that they moved to their home near Edwards. He loved to do woodworking and a little fishing. He also had a deep love for animals and had several dogs with Meme one of his favorites. He was a member of American Legion Post #217 of Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home, a daughter, Dianna Pennington, of Warsaw, 4 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, 3 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A visitation for Charles Pennington will be held at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Grave side services and interment will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri. |
