| Bio | Services for Melvis Patton Thomas and husband Ronald G. Thomas of Lee's Summit will be Tuesday, July 31,1990 at Langsford-Cox Chapel with burial in Floral Hills East Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the chapel. Mrs. Thomas was a lifelong resident and a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Independence, MO. She worked at AT&T from 1970 to 1986, and currently worked for Century 21 Klahn & Associates. Her survivors include her parents, Walter and Alice Patton, her brother Gary, all of Independence. Published in the Lee's Summit Journal, July 30, 1990. Melvis and Ron were killed in a car accident.
